Spitale Transportation offers non-transferring, point-to-point, less than truckload (LTL) service.

This service is offered to the specialty manufacturer and distributor. The service is designed to take items not well suited for being repeatedly handled or loaded into a box trailer and giving you, the customer, another option for transporting them other than paying for an entire truck or taking a chance with a common carrier. We will find available, open space on flatbed or enclosed trailers going in the direction of your shipment. Rates are based on space and weight taken up on the trailer. Transit times will normally run approximately three times longer than direct truckload shipments would. Maximum dimensions for LTL service are 24’L x 8’6”W x 10’T, and up to 24,000#. Tarping and other special care is available for your products. Your products will not be disturbed until they have reached their final destination. Max insured value for LTL service is $50,000.
